Budget Airline Releases Flights To Greek Islands For Just £29.90

With white sandy beaches, ancient ruins and picturesque towns, Rhodes is the perfect spot for a summer holiday.

And now you can get there for less than £30, as Norwegian announce their new budget flights.

The Scandinavian airline is launching a whole host of cheap flights direct from Gatwick, including one-way fares to Rhodes for just £29.90.

Launching just in time for a summer break, the inaugural flight departs on Saturday June 17 with a weekly service throughout summer, until 16 September.

Rhodes will be the fifth Greek island Norwegian serves direct from London Gatwick, including Corfu, Crete, Kefalonia, and Santorini.

An additional 17 flights to the Mediterranean, Norway and Denmark have also been added for summer 2017.

Partygoers can also take advantage of the new weekly service departing to Ibiza every Saturday.

Thomas Ramdahl, Chief Commercial Officer for Norwegian, said: “With a new direct route to Rhodes and increased services to the Mediterranean and Scandinavia, we are offering UK passengers even more choice and lower fares than ever before to popular European destinations from London Gatwick.

“Rhodes is a fantastic addition to our growing UK route network and with affordable fares from £29.90 one way, we expect Brits to flock to the Greek island this summer.”

But the airline have competition when it comes to low-cost flights as Ryanair have also just announced a new sale.

The carrier is offering Brits flights to popular hotspot Tenerife for just £21.99 one way in March if you fly on a Monday or Tuesday.

Budget flights depart from airports including London Stansted, Birmingham, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford and Manchester.
