This Is Why Virgin Media Will Not Work With Windows 10

Virgin Media broadband customers with computers running Windows 8 or Windows 10 could be having trouble connecting to the internet.

Virgin Media is one of a number of internet service providers, or ISPs, to have highlighted an internet problem which has hit customers across the UK.

It told customers: "We are aware that some customers using windows PCs are having issues getting online following a Microsoft Windows 10 update.

"We are in contact with Microsoft about this issue and will provide further updates as soon as possible."

Virgin Media currently estimates the issue with Windows 10 PCs will be resolved by December 16th 2017.

Computers running the latest version of Windows 8 and Windows 10 are losing internet connectivity because the PCs are failing to automatically pick up the addressing systems from their broadband routers.

This is not the first time an update to Windows 10 has wrecked havoc for users running the latest operating system.

Back in September, another patch pushed out by the US technology firm stopped many popular webcams from functioning.

Microsoft has issued some advice for those who have run into problems with their internet connections.
