Aamir Khan might be worth £140m but this weight loss transformation story is one in a billion.
The 51-year-old Bollywood actor recently revealed his impressive torso after first gaining weight for a role in Dangal and then losing the fat again.
The star went from 97 kg - having eaten a diet heavy in fat to gain the paunch - to an impressively toned gym buff with rippling abs, arms and just 9 per cent body fat.
Khan gained and lost the weight to portray the different life stages of Mahavir Phogat, a former Haryanvi wrestler, on whose life movie Dangal is based.
Talking about his impressive transformation, the actor said: 'This (Dangal) was one of the most dramatic body transformations so far."
Speaking to the Hindustan Times, he said: "The film has two phases. For one part, I had to put on weight. So, I weighed 96 kgs with 38% body fat.
"I had to reduce to 9% body fat within five months. That was a huge task."
To gain weight Khan claims he stuck to a diet of samosa, vada pav (a deep fried potato patty), chocolate, cakes and brownies.
Then, to lose the pounds, he stuck to fruit, Indian food upma (a semolina-style porridge), and protein shakes after his intense gym workouts.
Khan's incredible transformation will be available for everyone to witness when Dangal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is released on 23 December.
The news of Aamir's transformation comes as research by Yokebe Active Food found 86 per cent of women in the UK have tried a diet but still aren’t happy with their size.
The average person is set to consume an extra 20,000 calories in December.
