1. Fed Ex

The shipping company's logo hides an arrow in the space between the E and the X.

The logo's designer Lindon Leader once told Fast Company: "The arrow could connote forward direction, speed and precision, and if it remained hidden, there might be an element of surprise, that aha moment."

It's a popular design – and Rolling Stone magazine voted it one of the eight best logos from the last 35 years.

2. Baskin-Robbins

This popular ice cream brand stocks 31 flavours and its logo, which was introduced in 2005, makes this clear.

According to marketing VP Carol Austin, there are 31 options so customers can choose a different flavour every day of the month. Yum!

3. Toyota
Logo

This car company's instantly recognisable logo hides much more than meets the eye.

The three overlapping ovals are meant to "symbolise the unification of the hearts of our customers and the heart of Toyota products.

"The background space represents Toyota's technological advancement and the boundless opportunities ahead."

And, if you look closer at the overlapping ovals, you'll see the word Toyota spelt out. Clever right?

4. Pinterest

The pinning board site's logo is not only a P, it's also a map pin.

Co-designer Michael Deal once said: "For most of the project, I had avoided making visual reference to the image of a pin because it seemed too literal.

"But the P started to lend itself too well to the shape of a map pin."

5. Formula One/F1
Logo

The F1 logo is black to symbolise power and determination, and red to show passion and energy.

The 1 incorporates racing stripes, while there is a second 1 hidden in the white space. Can you see it?

6. LG

At first, this logo looks like a cheeky winky face. But the nose and face also write out L and G.

7. Amazon

Most people have noticed the smiley face in Amazon's logo, but this is not the only hidden message.

The arrow also points from A-Z, pointing out that the brand provides a whole range of items for sale.

8. Tour de France
Logo

Again, this logo hides two subliminal messages. The first, and most obvious, is the cyclist in the O and R.

The second flag is the yellow circle, which is intended to show that the race only takes place during the daytime.

9. Goodwill Industries International
Logo

The lowercase G in this charity's logo doubles as a smiley face.

While the company prides itself on improving lives so much that the happy g is included twice.

10. Hershey's Kisses
Logo

The chocolate brand company's has a hidden kiss between the K and I.
