We all love new born babies. We greet and meet them with an adorable care. But in terms of choosing babies name, we have to be extra careful.

Naming a baby may be a lot harder than you think, especially for parents who were just thinking about it right after the mother gave birth. Some are more prepared that they were ready months and even years before conception. Since it is now 2016, lots of new parents belong to the millennial group, which would explain their naming their baby something unique and sophisticated. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but not considering how your child would have to deal with it growing up, then that is a different issue.

In an article published by Pop Sugar, the writer pointed out the many possible negative effects of picking a unique name for a baby. Some parents won't even think if people would be able to pronounce their child's name correctly. That alone could already have a downside for the child growing up. It is advised that should you want to keep a unique name; it is best to do that on their second name. Make sure that their first or main name is easy to pronounce and they are spelled phonetically.

It would be easier for you and your baby if you just pick some timeless name like Michelle, Sarah, Mark and other names that are already common. Doing this would spare your child from having to deal with people mispronouncing their name. According to WaitButWhy.com, your kids won't even have the trouble of spelling out their name when they started going to school. It is still okay if you want to name your child unique and weird, but it is not advisable to make it too weird verging into annoying.

The name of child also has an effect on her mental health. He or she could grow insecure about it, which is why it is best to think it over first before finalizing your baby's name. What do you think is the best name for your child?
