Samsung Galaxy S7 has been positioned itself as a smartphone of the year 2016.
Celebrating its 10th year, top technology mag T3, has just revealed its choice for the brightest and best products of 2016 at a star-studded ceremony in London.
All the major names including Sony, Apple and Samsung picked up gongs but the biggest winner of the night was HTC who grabbed three trophies.
Its Vive VR headset was 2016's big winner, and the only product to pick up multiple awards including Gaming Product of the Year, Innovation of the Year and Gadget of the Year.
Samsung also had a good night winning brand of the year and its S7 edge also won smartphone of the year.
Apple also made it on to the list winning a special award for the best gadget of decade and pop legend will.i.am received Tech Personality of the Year.

Speaking at the awards, T3 Editor Rob Carney said: "It's incredible to look back over the past ten years of tech, and see how it's changed and influenced the world we live in.

"The past 12 months have, once again, not failed to amaze us.
"VR has truly impacted in a big way, the connected home is becoming ever more commonplace, and the incredible strides technology is making have enabled 100 per cent battery-powered cars.
"It only brings excitement to what the next 12 months hold for us all."
