Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer out of top four since 2003

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer has been lost their postion in the world tennis ranking.

Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer have both dropped out of the top four in the men's world rankings for the first time in 13 years.

The former world No.1s have been at the top of the ATP standings since 2003 but the emergence of Stan Wawrinka and Kei Nishikori has seen them fall.

Nadal , who won his last Grand Slam in 2014, has dropped to fifth.

A knee injury has ruled out Federer since Wimbledon, when he was beaten by Milos Raonic in the last four, and he has fallen to seventh.

Novak Djokovic continues to lead the way, ahead of Andy Murray.

Meanwhile, Johanna Konta is in the women's top 10 for the first time, after rising to ninth.

Konta reached the final of the China Open over the weekend , only to be beaten by Agnieszka Radwanska.

She is the first British woman to reach the top 10 since Jo Durie in 1984.
