Unlimited Whatsapp For Your Phone

Whatsapp

New Sim Card from FreedomPop offers unlimited WhatsApp at a lower price.

WhatsApp fans who are concerned about their phone bills may finally have an answer to their troubles.

A new release from provider FreedomPop is offering unlimited usage of the popular instant messaging service for a small monthly fee.

Users will be able to exchange messages, send pictures and even carry out video chats without incurring any extra costs.

FreedomPop is already well-known for its low-cost mobile price plans, and the new WhatsApp SIM looks to continue this trend.

Along with the unlimited WhatsApp usage, the contract will also include 200MB of additional data and 100 minutes, meaning you won't be stuck if the app ever goes down - along with 200 SMS messages in you fancy going old-school.

The WhatsApp usage can even be used abroad, as FreedomPop's contract extends into roaming across 30 other countries around the world for no extra cost, including popular destinations such as the US, Malaysia and Singapore.

Users are also able to add additional features onto their contract, including usage alerts, voicemail options and additional numbers - although these will all incur extra costs.

FreedomPop is also offering separate data-focused contracts, with 1GB of high-speed data allowance costing £20.99 a month, and 2GB available for £29.99.

Additional data can also be purchased for 1.5p a megabyte using the WhatsApp Free plan.

The launch comes amidst worries about the information WhatsApp is sharing on its users with parent company Facebook.

Under the new changes announced last week, Facebook is now able to see the phone number that people have associated with their WhatsApp account.

That allows the US social network to link and track profiles between the two services, helping Facebook gather more data for its advertisements.

WhatsApp claims the changes will make the experience better for its users.

However, WhatsApp is keen to reiterate that users' encrypted messages will remain private and the California-based firm won’t post, sell, share, or give your phone number to advertisers.
