This £45 weapon can KILL any computer

USB

Killer USB stick can destroy any computer and its so popular it’s already sold out.

Next time you ask to borrow a USB dongle make sure it doesn’t look like this.

The "USB Killer" device has just gone on sale and, once plugged in to an unprotected computer, delivers a fatal surge of power.

This renders any machine completely useless and causes terminal damage.

The USB Killer works by rapidly charging its capacitors from the USB power lines.

It then discharges -200VDC over the data lines of the host device.

This charge/discharge cycle is repeated many times per second, until the USB Killer is removed.

It’s so powerful a message on the producers website states: "Simply put: used on unprotected equipment, the USB Killer instantly and permanently disables unprotected hardware."

Incredibly, the killer USB has already sold out after with the firm struggling to keep up with demand.

It’s unclear who’s buying this deadly piece of tech but with it’s makers warning, "The USB Killer is not a toy it remains a high-voltage device," you should definitely keep it well away from your expensive PC.
