Here are the tips that will help you to look younger.
1. Skin protection
Although soaking up vitamin D from the sun is great for your body, ultraviolet (UV) rays can play havoc with your skin.
Sun exposure speeds up ageing and UV rays account for 80% of the damage, according to a recent study from L’Oreal Research and Innovation Center in Paris.
But it's not just wrinkles you have to worry about because sun damage can also cause age spots and increase your risk of three types of cancer.
If you want younger-looking skin then the first step in your defence should be protection with a good sun cream.
Opt for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and slather it on every two hours when you're in the sun, sweating or swimming.
2. Healthy body, healthy skin
Unhealthy habits like smoking can lead to a haggard appearance, because fags significantly speed up skin ageing.
Puffing on cigarettes can also cause wrinkles, particularly around the lips and mouth, and dull out your complexion.
Drinking too much alcohol is another big no-no because it dehydrates the skin.
But don't worry because you can reinvigorate yourself by eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables and glugging down lots of water.
Steer clear from salty, sugary and highly processed foods for a more youthful glow.
3. Take care
Treat your skin with respect by being gentle to it.
Spend less time in the shower or bath because a long soak can strip skin of its natural oils and when you get out make sure to pat yourself dry with a towel rather than scrubbing.
Using a toner after bathing can help restore the skin's pH balance and a daily moisturiser will keep you it primed and plumped.
4. Get down and dirty
Whether it’s sex on your own or with a partner, there’s yet another amazing benefit of getting jiggy.
Sex can actually make you more beautiful because it increases the blood flow to your face leaving your skin glowing.
In the short term you’ll look flushed and rosy but over time sex can make you look younger, reduce wrinkles and even banish acne.
