Dubai is already accommodates to the tallest building in the world, the craziest water parks and the most extravagant hotels.
The dessert city has pushed architectural boundaries by building massive islands shaped like palm trees, ski resorts inside shopping malls and underwater hotel rooms, but soon it will be home to another first.
A hotel with the world's first rainforest is currently in the planning stages. The 75,000-square foot man-made jungle will features rivers, lakes, full-sized trees and tropical plants and flowers.
Guests will even be able to experience the thrill of flying through the trees on a zip line.
The exotic rainforest will be situated inside a five-storey podium on the ground floor of two 47-storey towers.
The five-star Rosemont Hotel & Residences, which will be operated by the Hilton brand Curio, will also feature its own artificial beach and jaw-dropping sky pool.
Set to open in 2018, the impressive complex is expected to cost a whopping £230million.
The latest over-the-top luxury hotel is expected to draw even more wealthy travellers to the famous dessert city.
It will cater to couples and honeymooners but will also be a family-friendly resort. Children will love the pools and rainforest and there will also be an adventure play area, a bowling alley and trampoline park to explore.
The hotel will feature 450 guest rooms and suites in a tower, that will have a top floor infinity pool jutting out over the edge of the building.
It will also boast a fine-dining restaurants, a luxury spa, an on-site cinema, meeting rooms and a VIP lounge.
Located on a three-acre site, Dubai's latest masterpiece has been designed by ZAS Architects.
