We all love to make our to do lists in our daily life. While making lists it make makes our life smoother and convenient.
But there are some tricks you still need to know
1. When starting a list, you use your neatest handwriting.
2. Towards the end of a list your handwriting becomes a barely legible scribble.
3. Sometimes you will tick stuff off, sometimes you will put a line or a scribble through it. Variety is the spice of life after all.
4. You will spend so much time listing what needs to be done in minute detail there is often little time left to complete any of the tasks.
5. You will create lists within lists. For example, clean the house is only one tick but break that down room by room, or even task by task, and you could be ticking stuff off every few minutes. Ultimate list satisfaction.
6. A new notepad will likely result in a happy dance.
7. You cannot continue with a half completed list the following day. A new list must be created so you can clearly see what you have accomplished.
8. If you do something that wasn’t on the list you will add it to the list just so you can cross it off.
9. There is no scenario where you can’t incorporate a list.
10. You even list when you are talking – “I really don’t want to go because; 1. I have nothing to wear, 2. I don’t know anyone going, 3. It’s too far to travel, 4…”
11. You frequently have several lists on the go at the same time. Typically a today’s to do list, an ongoing to do list and an evolving shopping list. These are the bare minimum.
12. You have lists of books you need to read, box sets you need watch, places you need to visit and recipes you need to try.
13. You start every point on your list with a blob, dot, dash or, if you’re feeling fancy, a little star. A common combination is a dot for points on the main list and dashes for anything that appears on a sub list.
14. If you become overwhelmed by a situation the only effective remedy is to make a list.
