Iceland is a scandinavian country with a magnificent views with a breath taking contrast. A country filled with volcanos, Northern Lights, mountains, lakes
If you've always fancied visiting Iceland, but you're a bit strapped for cash you could be in luck.
Low-cost airline WOW air are offering free flights to the Nordic island nation, as part of a initiative to introduce the world to Icelandic culture.
However there is one fairly big catch. The airline will only be offering free flights to Brits who are relocating to Iceland.
Extending an Icelandic welcome to those who are swapping the UK for the Nordic nation, the airline is offering expats moving to the country between now and 1 October 2016 their journey free of charge.
With crime very low and cases of homicide even rarer (there were no murders in Iceland during three of the last fifteen years) it’s no wonder that Iceland has been ranked the most peaceful place in the world for the past six years by the World Economic Forum.
It was also named the third happiest country in the world – behind Denmark and Switzerland – according to a report backed by the UN.
The thermal, lunar-like landscape offers up plenty of natural wonders for you to explore, including bursting geysers, tumbling waterfalls, hot springs and huge mountainous national parks.
And for the more adventurous there are numerous activities from snowmobiling on glaciers to snorkelling between tectonic plates and spotting humpback whales.
Iceland is also one of the best places in the world to view the Northern Lights, which is the number one Bucket List activity for 48% of Brits.
Brits moving to Iceland with WOW air will simply need to send proof of their taking up residence such as a university acceptance letter, lease agreement or employment confirmation to MovingToIceland@wow.is
The offer is limited to British citizens, whether individuals or families, moving to Iceland for a minimum of 1 year from their date of departure.
WOW air will refund the outbound airfare from the UK to Iceland only, once the application is confirmed.
