Babies born to foreign mums is surpassing all time of records in th UK.
Official figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show 27.5 per cent of babies born last year had a non-UK born mother.
An astonishing 76 per cent of babies in Newham, east London had mothers originating from outside the country, compared to just 11 per cent in the North East.
Polish-born mothers registered more than 22,900 babies, and were followed by Pakistan and India-born women as the highest from outside the UK.
Births to UK-born women decreased by 0.4 per cent, according to the ONS.
The revelation came as figures showed net long-term migration remains close to record levels and more than three times the Government's target.
The measure stood at an estimated 327,000 in the year ending in March, despite governments cut to immigration.
